Last week I didn’t really have much to show you for Toy Run Tuesday, but this week I do! I got a few packages in the mail throughout the week with some great Star Wars items. I’m excited to share them with you, so click here to check out the photos!
I found the Mustafar panning droid and platform for $6 at Bookmans, and couldn’t pass it up. I love the copper color on the platform. Now I just need some lava…
My first package in the mail contained a figure I’ve been after for quite some time now: Darth Sidious from the Phantom Menace. This is my favorite Palpatine/Sidous figure Hasbro has made so far, until they make a solid TVC ROTJ Emperor figure. For now he fills in that position on my Imperial Inspection diorama.
I took a nice group photo of my Jedi. Unfortunately Ahsoka missed the picture, but then again… she left the order, so she probably didn’t get the email. As you may notice, I made a custom yellow saber for Rey using the end of her staff and a yellow toothpick sword.
Lastly, I got a package with concept IG-88, a figure I’ve been chasing for a good price for a while. He didn’t have his blasters, but that’s okay. He will be getting a backpack and a new rifle anyway. I love that design, and thought it was really awesome they brought it back for Rebels. I also got another Tusken since I didn’t have enough. The real star of the delivery last night was the Bounty Hunter’s Guild tracking FOB. It’s a finished prop from Nova Props. It is 3d printed with metal wires, and best of all – it has a blinking light!
That’s it for me this week in Star Wars. Exciting that I was able to preorder all the ‘mystery’ figures that Hasbro didn’t reveal. We’ll see if the preorders stick… I’ll have more to show you next week! Please share with us what you added to your collection this week (be it customs, new figures, old figures, shelf displays, etc.) in the comments below!
