OK, Great. So We Have A Carbon-Freezing Chamber Playset (Thanks); But Where Are The Figures To Populate It?

Now that Hasbro revealed a Carbon-Freezing Chamber playset, it’s time to give them a reality check. The Vintage Collection collectors will not be able to enjoy this brand new playset without a few key figures. (more….)

WHERE THE HECK is an updated and super-articulated Lando Calrissian figure, Hasbro? It’s COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE you haven’t produced one yet, Where is a super-articulated Lobot? JTA broke news all the way back in 2012 that you developed tooling for this figure (which may be obsolete at this point in the game). But one thing is certain. We cannot use the 2004 OTC Lobot figure. It’s unacceptable for a The Vintage Collection playset. When are you getting the Ugnaught released on a The Empire Strikes Back card back? We need that figure to interact with this playset. And at this point, we need an all-new interacting Chewbacca and C-3PO (Removable Limbs) two-pack. Just use the digital files from the 6″ figures. This playset is a huge step forward, but you need to have figures available when this gets released, or it’s not going to make much sense. Here is a recap, Hasbro. All-new/updated Lando Calrissian. All-new Lobot. Re-released Ugnaught (You can take parts from both 2009 versions and recreate the vintage Kenner character in case you didn’t know.). All-new Chewbacca and C-3PO with removable limbs. Bespin Security Guards. They haven’t been in the line in a decade! We do appreciate the Stormtrooper pack-in figure. Although you didn’t paint the figure with the Bespin orange and yellow lighting, the Bespin Stormtroopers were on “parking lot” lists for YEARS. Thank you for at least releasing the card back of this character.

Oh, and you REALLY couldn’t reveal another “Kenner 96” repack today? Goodness, gracious.
