Toy Run Tuesday #108 - Preorders
Hi all! It’s a Tuesday evening, but not too late for TRT! This week I dont’ have a single new Star Wars anything to share. I think that’s the first time in 2 years of running this article. If you want to see my Tech Deck ramp I made, or my custom Halo figures let me know. This is a Star Wars site, though, so I’m keeping it related. I did want to talk about something: preorders. Preorders bring me no joy when it comes to collecting. I look at my amazon orders and the preordered figures get lost in the backlog of household items. Preorders get forgotten. I want to ask you today: How much stuff do you have preordered? And, Do preorders excite you as a collector? Let us know in the comments.
I feel like I have so much stuff preordered. It gets overwhelming to keep track of sometimes. I’ve got stuff preordered on Amazon, Hasbropulse, BBTS, Dorkside Toys, Old Republic Collectibles, maybe Gamestop? No, not Gamestop… Let’s see am I forgetting any?I’m sure that I don’t even have as much preordered as many other collectors too.
As far as items preordered, I have a few Jawas, like 3 Mauls, 2 Ahsokas, 4 Echos, 6 purge troopers, 2-3 kuill, 4 bo katan, hoth trooper repack, and 2 of those amazon 4-packs from the bad batch. I also am waiting on the razorcrest. This is just Star Wars. I’ve also got 5 BFS figures on order, a figuarts figure, a playmobil set for my son, and a few other items for my dad.
I hope I got all of them there. It honestly gives me anxiety having that much stuff on preorder. I find much more joy in finding toys in the store like i’ve been able to do with the Halo figures I’ve been buying. I also don’t like seeing how much money I’m spending in one place ha!

P.S. In the time it took me to write this article I got an email from Gamestop about a preorder I forgot dropping soon… no joke.
