Walmart's Distribution For Hasbro Star Wars Is So Bad That They've Gone To Plaid
You know things are extremely terrible with the supply chain and the Walmart distribution center, in particular, that a retail chain gets stock that was never theirs from the start. Walmart is now receiving Target exclusives before general marketplace stock or even their OWN exclusives! They’ve gone to plaid!
In all seriousness, some local miscreant took the UPC from the recently-released Wrecker The Black Series Deluxe figure and pasted it to the bottom of The Black Series [Phase III] Moloch figure and returned it to the store for a credit or refund. This behavior by some in the Star Wars collecting community is reprehensible. What adds salt to the wound is that this person undoubtedly got a discounted Moloch from Ollie’s to do this bait and switch. Retailers use Ollie’s to recoup lost funds, and now some “collectors” are using this against them.
See images below! Despite this despicable event, Moloch is now the ONLY Hasbro Star Wars action figure on the shelves at this Walmart store.
