A new Han and Lando novel is coming soon…

Last Shot is a Han and Lando novel taking place over multiple time periods, including Post-Return of the Jedi, and between Solo and A New Hope. This epic story features Lando, Han, Leia, young Ben Solo, Sana Starros and many others.

If you are attending the Emerald City Comic-Con you can now put your name in a lottery to reserve a copy of the con-exclusive edition of The Last Jedi novelization. Details are as follows:

By entering the ECCC lottery, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase the convention exclusive edition of the novel Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This limited special edition has an exclusive cover and is signed by author Jason Fry. As an added bonus, purchasers receive a free Star Wars pin. In order to enter the lottery, you must have a valid ECCC 2018 badge for the day you select to enter.

Do you believe that today is the 35th anniversary of the publication of Rusty Miller’s The Jedi Master’s Quizbook? It was published October 12, 1982. Many of you out there remember this book coming out like it was yesterday, as well as his appearances on television and in People magazine. Amazon still has the book listed. It’s a must-have for all Star Wars fans, especially those who love the Original Trilogy.

This comes as no surprise after the success of the first novel and the popularity of the character, but it is good news to hear nonetheless! The official Star Wars Twitter page updated with the news that we will be getting a Thrawn sequel next summer, which will also feature Darth Vader. Click here for the full tweet! The latest novel, Star Wars: From A Certain Point Of View hits shelves today. This is our modern canon version of the Star Wars Tales series from the ’90s, featuring 40 stories for 40 years of Star Wars. Run pick this up at your local brick-and-mortar store, or order it on Amazon. 

I rarely ever read Star Wars novels and even I’m excited about Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View. The latest release from Del Rey will hit shelves October 3rd. The book is made up of forty short stories that reimagines a moment from the original film through the eyes of various background and supporting characters.  For example, Paul Dini wrote a story titled “Added Muscle” which focuses on Boba Fett. To make things even more enticing, Jon Hamm(!) will portray Boba Fett in the audio book version. USA Today has an exclusive excerpt from Dini’s story, check it out! This novel will be written by Saladin Ahmed, Rae Carson, Mira Grant, and John Jackson Miller and will be released on Dec. 5th as part of the Journey To Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
