What fun it was to pretend to be Han Solo in my many Star Wars adventures. We grew up on a farm and had a section of pine trees that divided the driveway in front of our house and the area where the cows and pigs grew up. It was in this are of pine trees that my brother and I developed and grew our many Star Wars adventures. The powdery soil and the pine needles made for some excellent terrain. I recall recreating many Battle of Endor scenarios there. There were many times when I played with my large headed Han Solo figure. (I never had the small head version as a kid.) My brother always wanted to use the Han Solo (Bespin Outfit) figure, so I got stuck with the Episode IV version. While it was always a preference to be Han Solo, I do recall not being overly fond of this figure. I too, much like my brother, preferred the later versions of Han Solo figures that would follow throughout the years. But as a youngster, I already developed a need to have one of every figure and Han Solo was no exception. As an adult, I appreciate what this figure brought to the line, but I still think I prefer the small head version.
