Chewbacca - Mission Fleet

The first wave of Mission Fleet figures included a beautiful assortment of characters from the Original Trilogy, Prequel Trilogy, and The Clone Wars. Chewbacca, the beloved Wookiee, is the perfect addition to the line, but we have to admit we’re surprised that Hasbro chose a concept based on Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith for the character. The Chewbacca Mission Fleet figure is an excellent interpretive take on the character. With a solid animated-style, this can be a miniature Chewbacca action figure for either The Clone Wars display or an animated take on some scene from the Original or Prequel Trilogy. The choices are endless for you. Interestingly, Chewbacca is a tad taller than the other figures in the first wave of the Mission Fleet line. So, it appears Hasbro made proper scale a concern for this line. Like all Mission Fleet figures, Chewbacca comes with nine points of articulation. Hasbro paired Chewbacca with a miniature version of 2005’s ROTS Wookiee Flyer With Wookiee Warrior vehicle set. They incorporated a decent amount of detail into the pint-sized vehicle. It breaks down into four parts if you care. Chewbacca pilots it well, and they designed the seating area to accommodate the figure without issue. As far as other accessories here, Chewbacca comes with the signature bowcaster and a removable bandolier. We’re probably most impressed with the removable bandolier on such a tiny action figure. One of the better figures in the Mission Fleet line thus far, Chewbacca complements the range terrifically. It’s one of the most versatile figures in this line now.
