Another year, another Christmas droid for the Disney Droid Factory line. For this year, Disney put together an R6 unit based on a snowman. It comes with a removable black top hat and a red scarf. The primarily white body has orange detail to mimic where the carrot-for-a-nose would do, and the legs are brown to recreate the “sticks” or wood used to create a snowman’s limbs. Collectors of this line can warmly welcome R6-SNO into their collections. It’s nice that Disney keeps the holiday-themed Droid Factory figures fresh each year. Undoubtedly, some are more interesting than others, but it’s also lovely to see a periodic surprise like a “snowman” droid added to the line. It seems their options continue to be limitless. We’d love to see a gingerbread man done in this format and a few other Christmas-themed characters. With an MSRP of $12.99 and limited availability, R6-SNO won’t last long. All of the holiday-themed astromech droids do very well every year.
