Cad Bane (Bracca) - TBS [P4] - Six Inch Figures (TBB12)

Famed bounty hunter Cad Bane has earned his reputation as someone who will take any job for the right price. The rise of the Empire and the elimination of the Jedi creates a surge of business for the unscrupulous hunter.

The infamous bounty hunter from The Clone Wars appears in the ill-fated The Bad Batch series. Disney Star Wars was desperate to revive the "at best" mediocre series with characters that fans like instead of being force-fed the ones that have no interest for most. At least adding the character in the latest media event gives Hasbro a reason to produce the character in the action figure line. Hence we receive the Amazon-exclusive Cad Bane (Bracca) action figure. It's an all-new action figure reminiscent of the Duros bounty hunter we adored in The Clone Wars series but with some scene-specific unique additions to the costume courtesy of the character's entry into the Disney Star Wars universe. So, you still find the cowboy hat, dual pistols, and breathing tubes, but you'll find other differences like the boots and nuances throughout the pants and shirt and leather belt, which not only refreshes the character but makes it feel like we're not repurchasing the exact previous figure. We love everything about this action figure, except for the paint operations given to the face. Hasbro decided to go with a wash to bring texture and accent, but it looks like a dirty face instead. There are way too many black hash marks. We're still determining why Hasbro went this route. Lastly, which is probably a tiny defect with our sample, the breathing tubes popped out of the figure's left side quickly, and we became frustrated while shooting our Photo Gallery. If you love Cad Bane, you'll love this action figure. Oh, and it's another painfully expensive 6-inch figure.
