Pre Vizsla - TBS [P4] - Six Inch Figures (TCW17)

Pre Vizsla was governor of Concordia, a moon of Mandalore, during the Clone Wars. Behind closed doors, he led Death Watch, a secret group of commandoes seeking control of Mandalore.

It's funny how long it took Hasbro to get bounty hunter Pre Vizsla into the 6-inch figure line. But after The Clone Wars ended, the collector can happily add a realistic interpretation of the character into their collections. Interestingly, Hasbro got this character out in both the super-articulated 3.75-inch and 6-inch scales within a couple of months of each other. We're happy to see Hasbro working hard to get a Star Wars figure into both scales within a reasonable amount of time from each other. What may disappoint you, however, is that Pre Vizsla is mostly a rehashed action figure with very little newness. Perhaps this is the approach you're expecting from a character like this, but we're surprised that with the notoriety Pre Vizsla has, we'd see more new parts than what's here. Pre Vizsla is a retool and repaint of 2020's TBS [P4] Mandalorian Loyalist (TCW04) figure. This time, Hasbro has the figure with an all-new portrait and belt. They also added many new accessories, including an articulated helmet, jetpack, and darksaber, and then repainted the figure to make it screen-specific to Pre Vizsla. The action figure shows signs of being obsolete. Hasbro brought The Black Series 6-inch line far in the last few years. And since the Mandalorian Loyalist, Pre Vizsla (and others) consider most of the original Jango Fett figure, it will have some limitations when posing it. We're also impressed with the all-new jetpack. It comes with a removable rocket, not unlike Boba Fett, and includes a spot to attach the darksaber when not in use. Overall, the paint operations on Pre-Vizsla are excellent. The new head sculpt is all right, but the Photo Real deco is impressive. While Pre Vizsla looks fantastic as a 6-inch action figure, most will find some fault with how poorly the figure articulates and the limitations you'll encounter when posing it. Maybe you don't need a lot of movement from this action figure. But all Mandalorians should come with limitless articulation.
