The Droid Factory C1-10P/C4-R4C/Professor Huyang/RD-3 multipack has something old but a lot new in it. It’s a colorful set of buildable droids, well, most of them are, at least, and brings together four characters from Star Wars: Ahsoka. We first get a repainted version of C1-10P. Disney first gave us this figure in 2017, and it’s held up well after all these years. With Ahsoka-specific paint operations and a few missing parts from the original release, C1-10P feels fresh and vital this many years after the fact. C4-R4C (try saying that three times fast) is an R4 Unit and an interesting character. We don’t see the character clearly in Star Wars: Ahsoka, but there must be enough reference materials in the Lucasfilm Archive to complete this action figure. It comes without the “foot” wires. Professor Huyang might be the sole reason most collectors will purchase this multipack. The all-new figure is a first-time offering on a 3.75-inch scale, and although it doesn’t have full premium articulation, there is indeed enough here to make it a worthwhile addition to your collection. That’s until Hasbro produces a version of this character. Our favorite figure in this set is RD-3. It’s bright, white, and lovely accented colors of gray and yellow throughout it. It looks to have a unique dome, as evidenced by a new “filler” piece, but it strongly resembles the standard R2 Units and R4 Units already released in the Droid Factory line. Most importantly, Disney added the foot wires to this figure, so we’re happy to see this vital feature returned to the line. We only wish they applied it to the other astromech droid in this set. This four-pack of droids looks excellent together. We’re interested in seeing what other Disney and Hasbro droids will produce for the 3.75-inch action figure line. We hope they keep the trends coming. While we loathe what Disney Star Wars produces, we also feel you can never have enough droids added to your collection.
