Moff Gideon/Bo-Katan Kryze - EHS - Deluxe

The Epic Hero Series line isn’t without controversy. Many want to understand why Hasbro introduced another scale into the Star Wars brand. Also, they said they would archive “forever” the 5POA line, but that’s what the Epic Hero Series line brings to collectors: a slightly larger-scaled 5POA collection of action figures. The Epic Hero Series line mostly brings forth ANOTHER version of characters already released in The Black Series and The Vintage Collection lineups until now. A new version of Moff Gideon debuts in this two-pack, the helmeted version of the on-screen character that battles Bo-Katan Kryze in a later episode of The Mandalorian. The figure looks decent. It comes with a removable cape and backpack for interchangeability purposes. Sadly, Moff Gideon comes without weapons because Hasbro met the tooling budget by including two other separate pieces. Fortunately, Bo-Katan Kryze comes with a darksaber and a removable jetpack. Bo-Katan Kryze looks decent, but unfortunately, it doesn’t come with an alternate portrait showing the character’s beautiful face. However, the figure is decent for what it is and will likely interest a few collectors here and there who are interested in multiple action figure scales. The two figures look excellently, battling each other in various displays. But we have to wonder how much like the Epic Hero Series line will have over time. It doesn’t interest us this much, and we know they aren’t reaching any noteworthy children’s audience. The set is worth it for the purchase of the new Moff Gideon, but we anticipate the figure will soon be coming to the collector-focused lines soon enough.
