Clever and formidable, Imperial Moff Gideon is fiercely determined to capture the child, known as Grogu.

It’s pretty sad when Hasbro has to repack 5POA action figures within a few weeks of each other. But that’s what they did with Moff Gideon and Bo-Katan Kryze. The single-carded versions come with a different accessory not available in the Deluxe or two-pack versions. The Star Wars collecting community does not fully embrace the Epic Hero Series line. Many want to know why Hasbro is introducing another scale into a line already muddled with multiple formats. And what makes things especially confusing to shoppers is that Hasbro produces the same characters across multiple sizes. We don’t believe that any of us expected to see the Hasbro Star Wars line in the state it is in today. It’s regrettable and slightly disturbing. This new version of Moff Gideon comes in two different ways in the Epic Hero Series lineup. The helmeted version of the on-screen character battles Bo-Katan Kryze in a later episode of The Mandalorian. And that’s what we have represented here. The figure looks decent, admittedly. It comes with a removable cape, and instead of a backpack, we get an electropole for weaponry this time. You can interchange parts between the two versions as well. The tooling and paint operations are excellent, although the figure’s design is simplistic. Collectors who love lots of detail in their action figures will undoubtedly be disappointed here. For $9.99, Moff Gideon is a rip-off. We wonder how long it will take Hasbro to realize this.
