There are still ways to grab bargains! Toys R Us has been running a promotion that if the clerk doesn't offer you at checkout batteries, to save 10% or even offer you a rewards card (varies by store), they will give you a $5 gift card. You better believe we were chomping at the bit to see if they screwed up....and they did. We accumulated over $50 total with these FREE $5 gift card and picked up the TRU exclusive TIE Interceptor for mere pennies. Thanks to a tip from our friends at Rebelscum.com, we have located the variant Clone Tank Gunner with the green-painted triangle on his helmet. But it appears that this variation has been out as far back as November since that is when we purchased our first sample. It is this same sample from where our photos were taken that reflect the green triangle. It also appears this running change is currently appearing in the latest remix wave of The Clone Wars figures. Republic Commanodo Sev is our final update, completing the squad of Gentle Giant Republic Commando Mini Busts. RC-1207, also known as Delta-07 and Sev, was a clone commando and a sharpshooter in Delta Squad of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He was often referred to by his nickname of Sev, especially by his squad mates, and was well known for his morbid sense of humor.
