I try not to be critical. I REALLY do. But Yahoo! reveals some lackluster products for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars from the Disney Store. Oh, and JTA revealed about half of this months ago FYI.

We have caught wind of a new rumor with regards to Disney Store's Elite Series die cast metal figure line. We have learned on May 5th Droid Pack of some sorts will be revealed. Also, on May 25th a Han Solo/Luke Skywalker two-pack will also be revealed. Let's see how this rumor pans out!

They're what Hasbro's Action Collection 12" figures would look like today if they were still producing them. They'd just be double the price is all. Disney’s new 12” Elite Series has been sighted! A big thanks to Jason Maraviglia who was able to snap some pics of these figures before they were taken into the back. It's breaking news! You saw our rumor reports and here is the proof! Holy moly! Does Hasbro HAVE competition now if these are 6" or 7" figures? We have an image showing the new Disney Premium Elite Series figures of Rey (Jakku) and Kylo Ren. They boast 32 points of articulation each. This looks like the line to make fan boys and fan girls cry everywhere. Wow!

UPDATE: Some readers are guessing in an educated manner that these may be 12" figures. That remains to be proven however.

A while back, our friends at Yakface.com presented a rumor report that a "premium" Elite Series line of Star Wars figures was coming. Immediately, the rumor was perplexing on all fronts because the Elite Series line itself has been described as a 'premium' line. The rumor sort of faded away soon after it was presented. But Yakface's rumor may likely still have clout. We have received intel that indeed a "Premium" line of Elite Series figures are coming. We are waiting to have the price confirmed, but from what our source tells us we can expect to get both Kylo Ren and Rey on 11/15 and then Darth Vader and Princess Leia on 11/25. Stay grounded with this updated rumor because no one has the full story yet. But this new development sure makes it sound to us that a "different" line is coming. Stay tuned for more!
