LEGO threw all of us a great little Preview Party on Saturday where the best of the best of their 2006 line was on display. In addition to the LEGO building sets that you can find in stores right now (A-Wing, B-Wing, Slave I, TIE Interceptor and V-Wing), we were able to see the fantastic new Imperial Star Destroyer and Jabba's Sail Barge, both of which are set to hit store shelves in August.

The Imperial Star Destroyer ($139.99) comes complete with a pair of Imperial Guards, 2 Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Mouse Droid, an Imperial R2 unit, an Imperial Officer, Tarkin and a holo Emperor!! The top portion of the Star Destroyer comes off the rest of the ship to reveal a cool playset inside!

Jabba's Sail Barge ($119.99) is full of great details. From opening windows and doors, rotating canons and more than enough space inside to feature Jabba and his court. The set also includes a Skiff to transport Han, Lando in his Skiff disguise, Jedi Luke and a Gamorrean Guard over to the Sarlacc (also included) filling his endless belly with Boba Fett himself. Other mini-figs include a Slave Leia, a waiter, and R2-D2 with drink tray.
