This is the funniest thing you’ll see on the internet today. Guaranteed. Thank you From 4-LOM To Zuckuss for the laugh, but we’re not laughing at your pain.
I really didn’t want to complain about much of anything Star Wars collecting related, because there is too much going on in the world that’s inimitably more important. But hopefully, this won’t be interpreted more than an important suggestion to prevent the situation from becoming Hasbro’s siren’s song of doom.
The Retro Collection Boba Fett has just begun hitting retail, and the aftermarket on them is hideous. They sold out in split seconds at Walmart. Yet, no one important seems to be paying attention to this at Hasbro. Well, here is your fair warning to get more produced. Hasbro – here is a reality check for you. I hope that you’re producing SOLID CASE PACKS of Boba Fett from the Retro Collection so 3.75″ enthusiasts can buy anywhere from 5-10 case packs of these when they become available through the Fan Channel. Please don’t disappoint us, and please kill the aftermarket now. You’ve made so many mistakes with the 3.75″ line, please heed our advice and don’t let this important decision slip through your fingers too. Thank you!

You’d think that after 25 years of owning the license rights to the Star Wars toy line that Hasbro would know characters like the Imperial Stormtroopers and Boba Fett need to be produced at extremely higher numbers than say, oh Lando Calrissian and Han Solo (Hoth). Hasbro/Walmart – the Retro Collection Boba Fett sold out in moments and everyone is mad and frustrated that we’re going through this once again. Please get Boba Fett solid case assortments made, and get this highly-requested and wanted action figure in stock again ASAP! This isn’t an issue with limiting quantities. Everyone should be able to order as many as he or she wants.

We’re done with GOLD stuff now! Aren’t you thrilled? Hasbro phoned it in with the Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019) (C-3PO/R2-D2/BB-8) three-pack. It’s cool, but doesn’t have any newly added characters in it because they didn’t produce any in this scale. Regardless, It’s the focus of our Research Droids Reviews today! With all that’s slowly getting leaked and revealed for Triple Force Friday, I can’t help but be reminded of a Season 5 Happy Days television episode whose plot point became a universal line of demarcation for something that changes so drastically from its original intent it becomes unwelcomed.
With Hasbro, 3.75″ collectors are good as gold to them! If this is the only things 3.75″ collectors are getting to celebration the Luke Skywalker saga. There needs to be a The Vintage Collection celebration of these character continuing. There is no other way to celebrate it for those collectors. JTA reader Paul V. found GOLD 5POA action figures at his local Walmart. (They didn’t ring up, obviously). But who is going to buy this line? Honestly. Please let us know. And don’t be afraid if you like these.
Have you fully processed that the Hasbro The Rise Of Skywalker toy line will be the first without a range of 3.75″ figures outside of The Vintage Collection yet? It’s true. And you could say that this means that The Rise Of Skywalker is initiating the decline of 3.75″!
Although priced with an MSRP for a The Vintage Collection figure, Walmart has listed a Retro Collection Boba Fett figure. With the runaway success of the first wave at TARGET and now Entertainment Earth, there’s no doubt the line’s continuing, but will Boba Fett be one of the figures in the next wave? Special thanks to friend Mark for the alert!

All the excitement for the new helmets and great Star Wars dioramas may have overshadowed this piece of news. Or in this case, it’s telling what Hasbro didn’t talk about at all at the SDCC panel. 5 POA 3.75” modern style movie figures were not mentioned with one single word. Hasbro merely said that 3.75 inch figures will get made for the Retro line and TVC, they didn’t mention Force Link one single time.
And then, during the Q&A, one person asked about more toys for Star Wars: Resistance. Hasbro’s short reply? Nothing is planned at all. So what does that mean? It looks as though 5 POA 3.75 inch figures, unless they are Kenner replicas, are dead? Also, Hasbro doesn’t seem to believe at all in the Resistance cartoon. If the toys and the show were a success, Hasbro would certainly be happy to offer more. Instead they offer nothing. We know season 2 of Resistance is coming, but it was probably greenlit long before season 1 even aired (it’s how animation works). So what does it mean for the show when it has zero toys? And what does it mean for 3.75 inch collectors if the 5 POA line is cancelled in favor of stylized 5 inch Galaxy of Adventures figures? It seems 3.75 inch collectors will only have TVC now. And Retro figures. What is going on here? Or will Hasbro reveal a 5 POA 3.75 line for The Rise of Skywalker after all, but only on Triple Force Friday? There are zero rumors for any 5 POA figures though. So maybe the line is dead. Many of you asked for it. But the question is, are you happy now that 5 POA might be dead? TVC didn’t benefit at all from that, as is evident.
UPDATE: Hasbro officially confirmed in a post panel interview that the basic 5 POA 3.75 inch action figure line is no more. Only the Retro collection and TVC will have 3.75 inch figures from now on.
