Super 7 is releasing another excellent exclusive this year, in line with their previous Alien Hammerhead figure. This year it’s Kenner 1985 The Power Of The Force packaging with a 5POA Metropolis Maria as the featured figure. Awesome! Too bad Hasbro doesn’t do a whole line of never-produced POTF Retro Collection figures like this! Imagine a POTF Bossk, POTF IG-88, POTF Luke Bespin. It will never happen as the line continually gets squandered. Any way, check out Super 7’s Facebook page for more
As we reported, the “Father’s Day” exclusives at TARGET have been collected and gathered and sent to Goodwill stores. Now they’re showing up online in auctions. (Is the hobby really this difficult now?) Anyway, JTA reader Greg A. sends us a link where there is an auction of the removed products. Do you notice anything odd? Whoever did this should give up the hobby immediately.
The last release from Galaxy of Adventures wave 3 to be added to our Visual Guides is Rey (The Scavenger). Click below for the full Visual Guide, and then head on over and check out our full review.
Today’s Visual Guide update features Obi-Wan Kenobi (The Mentor) from Galaxy of Adventures. Click below for our Visual Guide page, and click here for our detailed review.
If your TARGET has any leftover Han Solo (Stormtrooper), Luke Skywalker (Death Star Escape), or, yes, the Retro Collection figures, they’re all 50% because they fall under Father’s Day gifts, at least at JTA reader Scott K.’s local TARGET in NY! Unbelievable! He writes: “If any Target stores have leftovers the VC Han Stormtrooper, he is $6.49, the Retro figures are $4.99 and I believe The Black Series Luke Stormtrooper is $9.99.”
UPDATE: It looks like this might be universal. My TARGET had only the 6″ Luke Stormtrooper leftover and they all rang up $9.99.
Wow! I knew this was a HOT figure, but look what sellers are requesting for the 2015 Rebels Jedi Temple Guard (SL17) Saga Legends figure Check it out! Do prices like this for 5POA make you mad? Or dejected? Or do you laugh at what some command for these simple figures? One thing is for sure, we don’t know of any other 5POA figure that goes for this kind of money, proof that all-new characters from beloved Star Wars sources will always be desired. Thanks to friend Sjefke for the alert on this.

Is she Jedi training or scavenging? Apparently, Hasbro doesn’t know either. Let’s take a look at another unneeded figure in the third wave of Galaxy Of Adventures line. This time it’s Rey (The Scavenger) is a nice version of the figure. But you probably already own it. See more in our Research Droids Reviews today! We have a sneak peek of the (Walmart Exclusive Entertainment Earth Exclusive ROSS Exclusive) Resistance A-wing Fighter (Red Squadron) vehicle. This vehicle has gone through quite a journey, hasn’t it? It’s unknown what happened that it never ended up at the first two retails it was intended for, and perhaps we’ll never know. The paint job is barely red (it doesn’t look that red) and it also comes with the first black female Resistance pilot. The review is coming soon, but you can check out the Photo Gallery now.
We have a sneak peek of the first wave of Retro Collection figures for you to see. I love these things. But what a shame that Hasbro didn’t launch this line for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. I hope they take the line as far as possible. Droids, Ewoks, unproduced vintage Kenner figures are only the beginning. And I would LOVE to see 1985 The Power Of The Force figures added as well. Right now they’re exclusively available at TARGET beginning May 12th, but they will have more widespread availability later this year in the Fall. Check them out and leave your thought about them in our review pages!
Hasbro sent out a PRESS RELEASE clearing up some confusion about the first wave of Retro Collection figures. They are NOT exclusive to TARGET. They will be available at other specialty outlets later in the Fall.

Ugh. Entertainment Earth has just sent out cancellation notices of the “never released” Walmart exclusive Force Link 2.0 Resistance A-wing Fighter (the red one now showing up at ROSS). It looks like eBay may be an only option for most of us unless this gets picked up by another discount retailer. What a shame.
