We had to wait TWO DECADES for Hasbro to update Princess Leia Organa from A New Hope on a vintage-styled card. And this is the first one that is super-articulated. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty close. Check it out in our Research Droids Reviews today (more….)
I felt I had to share this with all of you since I’ve been seeing a lot of discussions around the web lately regarding the original plans for Episode IX to be “Leia’s Movie”. It’s just crazy to think (regardless of opinions on the Sequel Trilogy) that this will be the last time we see our original heroes in a new feature and I think Billie wrote a nice little piece about her Mother, her Princess, and OUR Princess. It is with sadness I share a report from our friends at Fantha Tracks, that the wonderful Peter Mayhew who, as we know, portrayed Chewbacca in A New Hope, has passed away today. Follow this link for an official statement from The Kurtz Joiner Archive…

Drugs, including heroin and cocaine, were found in Carrie’s body during her autopsy. USA Today has the full (and very upsetting) story.
Need we say more? Be sure to go and check it out at ABC News.
In a discussion with CinemaBlend, Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow talked about the process of creating the next chapter in the Star Wars saga without Carrie Fisher. Although Trevorrow’s comments weren’t particularly revealing, he did admit that his options are limited because there are only certain things they are willing to do. Lucasfilm already ruled out using a CGI recreation to continue Leia’s story without Carrie Fisher, which is a wise choice. How the creative team will honor Carrie Fisher and handle Leia’s story is what I am the most anxious about heading into The Last Jedi and Episode IX. What do you think? It’s been difficult for Star Wars fans to accept the loss of Carrie Fisher, but now her home and over 1,500 personal items that belonged to Carrie and her mother Debbie are being auctioned off. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to get some one-of-a-kind items that would be the envy of many collectors across the globe including a life-size C-3PO and bronze Yoda statue. You can read more about the auction in USA Today..
