Another Walmart price drop! This time you can grab the Legacy Pack for $15 online!
Update: You can pick this up on Amazon for the same price, with free Prime shipping. Thanks to Steve for letting us know in our comments!
This image showed up over in the Sideshow Collector’s forums. It looks like Hot Toys will be releasing a The Empire Strikes Back version of Darth Vader. With multiple Darth Vader releases from Hot Toys already, I’m not too excited about another one. That display base, however, is pretty amazing!
We are going to switch gears for just a couple of days to both take a short break from the Star Wars [The Last Jedi] line as well as fill in some holes from the Star Wars [Yoda/Attack Of The Clones]. The Black Series [Phase III] Centerpiece Collection figures as well as the 6″ vehicles were marked down at area Walmarts close to JTA reader Rum Sleg’s hometown. He has the complete store report and you can read it by clicking through. (In my opinion, the sale prices are fair MSRPs for these items!)

Toys R Us is selling a 4-piece Funko Pop Collectors Set that features Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Threepio, and Artoo-Detoo.
This beautiful set was created to celebrate the 40th Anniversary and boy does it look fantastic! Both are sculpted to look as they appeared in A New Hope. Grand Moff Tarkin features a brand-new head sculpt, a finely tailored Imperial uniform, Grand Moff Tarkin’s high back chair, and a specially designed Death Star themed figure base while Darth Vader features newly redesigned gloves, a sophisticatedly-crafted Darth Vader armor and helmet, skillfully tailored suit, LED-lighted lightsaber, an Interrogator Droid, and a specially designed Death Star themed figure base. Check out all the images of them both here.
JTA reader Allen found a ton of 40th Anniversary Legacy Packs marked down at his local Walmart in Smithfield, RI. According to Allen, they are marked down to a mere $15! I know my local Walmarts have more than 20 of these each and they have yet to even mark them down at all. My Walmarts don’t have ANY of the Star Wars figures marked down yet…Which is strange. Have you found the Legacy Pack this cheap yet in your area? Let us know!
The Episode III Gift Pack was an international exclusive released during The Saga Collection in 2006. It has one of the rarest figures of the entire Hasbro line in it. Most American collectors never got the figure either. Learn more in our Research Droids Reviews today. Sideshow Collectibles also reveals a new Darth Vader, Princess Leia Organa (Combat Poncho), and Luke Skywalker (Battle Poncho) one-sixth scale figures! My oh my! They also list an Episode VII C-3PO, a new Stormtrooper and other great stuff. Check it all out!
UPDATE: We have been alerted to the fact that this is actually the Rogue One Darth Vader. It’s possible that they intended to showcase a different version of him instead. (Thanks Jayson!)
Sideshow Collectibles reveals a stunning one-sixth scale Anakin Skywalker (Episode III) figure. Check out this beauty online!
Kmart has ALL of The Black Series 3.75″ 40th Anniversary Titanium figures on sale for $12.74. Not a bad price!
As I was picking up some comics, I decided to swing by the Target and see what was happening there. Alas, no 40th figures and barely any clearance items honestly (although there was a TON of 5POA TFA figures still full price on the shelves), but what I did see was one Vader Legacy pack sitting there with a clearance of $27.99. Now, I was going to wait on this since I’ve seen them lower from other reports, but for some reason I decided to scan it and lo and behold it was down to $19.98. I recommend checking your Target because they may just not have updated the stickers.
JTA Reader Christian C. brings to our attention that his local Target has dropped the price of The 40th Anniversary Darth Vader Legacy Pack down to $19.99! That is closer to what they really needed to price this figure at to begin with. I believe $24.99 or at the MOST $29.99 would have been more reasonable, but $39.99 was extremely high. Even for a figure that is of an extremely amazing quality such as this Darth Vader is. Heck, I will most definitely be buying up a few more at this price! Have you seen this in your area yet?
UPDATE: This specific Target is located in Texas.
Even if you consider yourself a hardcore collector, it’s a good bet that you don’t even know about the 2007 30 (77-07) Clones And Commanders Gift Pack which was released only as an international exclusive. It was originally offered to be a Toys R Us exclusive in America, but those plans fell through the cracks. It’s one of the strangest boxed sets ever put together. It looks like the prices are dropping, albeit rather slowly. Most of them are $14 or a bit under on Amazon currently with Free One-Day Shipping for Prime members. Maybe it’s time to jump, or maybe they’ll drop more. Who Knows? Or, maybe they’ll end up out of production and worth triple the amount and we’ll be left buying from scalpers!
