The time has come! The best Imperial Stormtrooper ever in 3.75″ scale is starting to arrive in collectors’ homes. Thanks to Sergio K. for the image. I have seen reports of cards being charged from EE and BBTS, so start watching for emails and whatnot if you have this on pre-order. Has anyone had their cards charged for the solid cases of Stormtroopers yet? Let us know if you’ve gotten your case or are anticipating it soon in the comments!

Wo! Our “rumor” report from last summer has finally come to pass. Although this was expected much earlier in the year, select waves of figures from th failed Walmart exclusive The Black Series [Phase III] 3.75″ super-articulated line has finally become avaialble to online retailers. Orders were solicited mnths and months ago for these figures by online retailers, but their orders were never cancelled (the last we heard). Now, Entertainment Earth has put the final wave of figures up for pre-order on their site. Special thanks to JTA reader Agusin for the alert!
Hurry! We don’t know if this means that the Elite Praetorian Guard will become part of The Vintage Collection or not, or if eBay superseller tunghori has finally located his stash, but get it before it’s gone! Special thanks to JTA reader Scott M. for the alert!
Serious question: Why once Kylo Ren assassinated Supreme Leader Snoke, did the Elite Praetorian Guard legion go on the offensive against him and Rey? Other than creating a cool fight scene in the film, it seems pointless in retrospect, doesn’t it? Let me explain. Who was left for them to protect after Snoke’s demise? Wouldn’t Kylo Ren be next in charge? Wouldn’t it be the equivalent of Dorothy splashing the Wicked Witch of the West with water, freeing her army? Is it none of the above? Is the answer a simple one? Is it a complex one? Has this been discussed in some new EU novel that I will never read? Is it a plot hole? Or is it something that doesn’t matter? Let me know in the comments.
JTA Reader and Friend Charlie shared this image from his local Target of a Cassian figure stuffed in where the Praetorian Guard should be. This should’ve been an obvious move. There are 8 Praetorian Guards in the movie surrounding Snoke and we have yet to get all “versions” of the P-Guard. They should have definitely foreseen that this would be an army builder (or at least an army of 8) and a Praetorian single or two pack would’ve been a smart decision in my opinion. Would you buy a two pack of Praetorian Guards?
UPDATE: Another example, same set, different store (Walmart). Is this happening near you?
If you still need him, the Elite Praetorian Guard is IN STOCK at Hasbro Toy Shop with a limit of two per order. Special thanks to JTA reader Minelayer for the alert!
Wo! Back it up! Back it up! Beep! Beep! Beep! JTA reader and good friend Mario M. sends us proof that the Toys R Us exclusive Force Link Starter Set with First Order Stormtrooper Executioner and Elite Praetorian Guard has been found in CA despite its December 2017 release date. I wonder if those online pre-orders will soon start charging now!

While JTA reader and friend CS E. was searching for The Black Series [Phase III] Elite Praetorain Guard on Brickseek, the search result brought down the toy show below with a description “Star Wars-lucas Sw E8 Elite Praetorian Guard”. Uh-oh, this could get ugly. Ms. Kennedy’s panties are going to get all bunched over this for certain! How dare a licensee reference Lucas! Click the image below for more. A case and point example of Disney’s infiltration into the Star Wars universe? Or just a hilarious error. You decide. May the Mouse be with you!
