How can anyone possibly “celebrate the saga” with a set based on The Last Jedi? Also, Hasbro hates Rose. She’s nowhere to be found here. 5POA is never OK, but OUCH, The Resistance Celebrate The Saga multipack is EXTRA painful. Not even the Photo Real helps these monstrosities. Well, maybe a little. Regardless, you’re probably not going to want this one for any reason. Are you buying the rest of these sets for your collection? (more….)

Five costumes from the upcoming movie The Rise of Skywalker are currently on display at the Essence Festival. Photos have appeared on the internet, I compiled them and made a collage of all five costumes that are shown. You can get a good look at the costumes for Lando, Finn, Poe, Jannah and Rey. Sadly, Kylo and Zorri seem to be missing. But nevertheless, this gives you a good chance to examine the costumes more closely and in more or less natural light, without added color grading.
Poe still looks like Nathan Drake, Lando can’t afford new clothes it seems, so he has to wear things from his younger days, Jannah looks interesting, even if the sandals look dubious, she should get an action figure, Finn should not get an action figure based on the costume (not another Han Soloesque costume please) and Rey seems to be wearing genuine Ugg boots? Are they still a thing? But otherwise her costume is ok, still very similar to her TFA costume, but with the added hood (you can’t see it here) the costume has some interesting things going on. This is her best look yet, in my opinion.

After the recent article about Star Wars trending on Google, I thought it might be fun to take a closer look at how various Star Wars characters are trending on Google, both old and new. The results may make some people happy, others not so much, some of the results are certainly surprising! Some spoilers: Russia loves Kylo Ren! Japan loves droids! And Jar Jar Binks is trending more on Google than Finn, Poe or Rose, even in 2019. How is any of that possible? Click through for a few comparisons between Star Wars Characters!
You may ask what Tom Hanks is doing on JTA. Well, Tom Hanks appeared on Jimmy Kimmel the other day and it was there that Tom Hanks talked about the very strict rules Disney have for their stars when they are promoting a movie (Toy Story 4 in Hanks’ case). And it’s interesting to see what rules there are. Disney is more or less providing pre-fabricated bullet points for the stars and even anticipate various questions asked by the press and tell their stars what to reply when they get asked these questions. And of course Disney also tell their stars what is not allowed to talk about at all. And this leads us to Star Wars. Click through to learn more!
Where do action figures go after they don’t sell at 5-below and Ross? They go to Liquidator’s Discount Center in AZ. I found these the other day and feel I can safely dub Finn as the least wanted action figure (dare I say more than Zuvio?). That title is being challenged by Force Link Rose, though. Jason D. posted a picture on Facebook of several pegs of Rose Tico for full price at Disney World. Have you ever seen anything peg-warm so hard? Do you have a challenger for the least wanted action figure of 2017-18? Let us know in the comments! Full Story
Some photos from the filming of Episode IX have appeared on the web. You can get a good look at Poe Dameron, Finn and Chewbacca as well as some extras (?). Don’t click through and ignore this article if photos of Oscar Isaac and John Boyega in their Episode IX outfits will spoil things too much for you! You are warned!
