Not a bad deal if interested…. $34.99 at Entertainment Earth.
Well, after the $10 Five Below finds, the $16.99 Kids Warehouse Discount, and now Ollie’s $19.99 special, (as well as multiple unmentioned flash-sales on Amazon), I think it’s safe to say that The Vintage Collection Imperial Combat Assault Tank was a colossal failure. Even if it’s time to discount the vehicle in the line, there shouldn’t be this many units available for these give-away prices. Hey, if we can rip The Black Series [Phase III] First Order Elite TIE Fighter 6″ vehicle a new one, we should be able to do it for a TVC item too. Special thanks to JTA reader Ed. D. for the latest Ollie’s news.
P.S. I do want to be COMPLETELY transparent and state I never saw this vehicle at retail ONCE. So, maybe it’s NOT a great comparison to the 6″ First Order Elite TIE Fighter. At least the latter was found EVERYWHERE before it hit clearance EVERYWHERE.

Make sure to get there a few minutes early, because these doorbusters have been known to go live a minute or two early and sell out fast. Click here to secure your doorbuster deal! This is the final doorbuster from Entertainment Earth this season.
Well, this is not good, folks. And Hasbro, it’s time to get back to Original Trilogy basics. Collectors have voted with their dollars, and it appears they’re sick of straight either repacks and not interested in new vehicles, not from the Original Trilogy (or Prequel Trilogy). Yes, we’re sure there are exceptions to this. The Imperial Combat Assault Tank wasn’t one of them. $10 Imperial Combat Assault Tanks at Five Below is not an encouraging sight for The Vintage Collection brand. Special thanks to JTA reader Seth A for the news!

JTA regular Matthew Cohen spotted the TVC Combat Assault Tank at a Target in Brooklyn today, sold at regular MSRP. Also in the store were a lot of TVC Stormtrooper Hans (much more of him than TBS Trash Compactor Luke). Anyone who didn’t get the Tank when it was discounted online and is still looking for it might want to check out their local Target!
It looks like Walmart.com is trying to compete with the Imperial Combat Assault Tank. They’ve reduced the price to $37.97. Special thank to Shane G. for the alert!
Amazon lowered its price for the TVC Combat Assault Tank once more. Now you can get it for $29. If you still haven’t bought the vehicle yet, now may be the right time to add it to your collection. Or you may always wait for the inevitable $10 price tag that virtually any Star Wars vehicle will have sooner or later. So much for thinking that $37.99 was the end of price cuts for this set. Thanks to JTA friend Steven for the alert!
Amazon drops the price again for the Imperial Combat Assault Tank. Grab it for $37.97! And, if you prefer to do your shopping on Walmart.com, you can also get it there for the same price. Thanks to Ray for the alert!
UPDATE: Amazon has SOLD OUT of the tank at the $37 pricing. It is no longer available from Amazon and is only being sold by 3rd parties at the $79 MSRP.

You think we have it bad in the USA when it comes to The Vintage Collection’s Imperial Combat Assault Tank? Friend and JTA reader Jamie D. sends us a report that this gorgeous vehicle has hit his local Canadian Toys R Us store and the MSRP is $119.99. Yikes. The line will not thrive with these ridiculous prices. By the way, see our full review on this amazing vehicle in our RDRs HERE.

It’s the first all-new vehicle of the new TVC era! Check out our advanced sneak peek of the brand-spanking-new Imperial Combat Assault Tank from The Vintage Collection. Hasbro hit this vehicle out of the park. The amount of distinctive tooling Hasbro gave this vehicle is nothing short of impressive. The final paint operations are excellent, although we feel they could have been bettered in a few areas. The only negative is that we don’t have Turbo Tank pilots to outfit the vehicle yet. The Imperial Combat Assault Tank has real rubber tread that functions. The interior cockpit is astounding. And the extras here are so beautiful; you’re going to be overwhelmed. We’re especially taken with the Kyber crystal containers and cases. There is a ton of Aurebesh to translate on this vehicle, so have fun figuring it out! Yes, the price is steep, but this is a robust and weighty vehicle LOADED with detail. Our full photo gallery is complete, and the write up is coming in just a couple of days. In the meantime, please enjoy the gallery and other things like Collector Notes! Click HERE to check it out.
Good news! The Imperial Combat Assault Tank is beginning to ship from online retailers, most motably Dorkside Toys and Entertainment Earth! If you’ve pre-ordered, than you should expect your shipping notice soon! Special thank to all of the eager readers who wrote in to let us know!

Sellers have begun putting The Vintage Collection Imperial Combat Assault Tank on pre-order on eBay. Many have asked when this is arriving and the speculation has been “summer 2018”. Per this auction, it looks like July could be the month! Special thanks to JTA reader Gregory G. for the alert!
When the pre-order went live for the gorgeous The Vintage Collection Imperial Combat Assault Tank, the grumbling about its MSRP started immediately. We understand that it is a high price for this vehicle. But we’d like to remind you of a couple of things. (more….)
Our friend Steve Evans at Hasbro has posted the very first picture of the upcoming Imperial Combat Assault Tank in GLORIOUS The Vintage Collection packaging on his Instagram page. It’s stunning; both the packaging and the vehicle. We cannot wait for the presentation today. On another note, the image has since been pulled from social media, but figures from The Vintage Collection have been pulled, but Dr. Aphra will be fully revealed today as well. Stay tuned for more!
