Well this is interesting! Toys R Us has updated their Forces Of Destiny section to include the Princess Leia Organa/R2-D2 two-pack as their latest exclusive. If you recall, this set was a recently revealed in Brazil at the Disney Expo there, and our own sources hinted this would be coming to Toys R Us this holiday season. It looks like that rumor has panned out. It cannot be pre-ordered yet, but they do have a December 6th availability date listed. Thanks to JTA readers Mike M. and Brian K. for the alerts!
UPDATE: It looks like other online shops have this for pre-order too. Perhaps TRU is confused about having this as their exclusive, but our sources have confirmed this too at one point. Maybe it has since changed.
Entertainment Weekly continued their coverage of The Last Jedi by focusing on Leia’s role in the film, her relationship with Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, and Carrie Fisher’s legacy. Click through for more!
It’s your unavoidable destiny that you will eventually see a female heroine of great Force(s) potential enter the line supporting a current multimedia event. Can you guess who it might be? You’ll soon learn!

Gentle Giant Ltd. announced the Jumbo Vintage Kenner Figure Early Bird Figures Early Bird Kit AND Early Bird Package at their presentation today! Awesome!
Sideshow Collectibles also reveals a new Darth Vader, Princess Leia Organa (Combat Poncho), and Luke Skywalker (Battle Poncho) one-sixth scale figures! My oh my! They also list an Episode VII C-3PO, a new Stormtrooper and other great stuff. Check it all out!
UPDATE: We have been alerted to the fact that this is actually the Rogue One Darth Vader. It’s possible that they intended to showcase a different version of him instead. (Thanks Jayson!)
If you still need to pick up a Luke, Leia, or Obi-Wan, Kmart has them for $16.99. If you haven’t already, you can sign up for Kmarts shoppers points and typically get $10 off of your order right away. That could be some good savings on those figures or the First Order 6″ TIE Fighter which is listed at $64.40. They have R2-D2 listed as in stock and you can add it to your cart, but it’s a cruel joke. It doesn’t let you check out. Don’t forget, free shipping on orders over $49
UPDATE: Figures are actually out of stock. As soon as you go to your cart there is an error message. Sorry for the false alarm, we’re just trying to help everyone out!
Check out the 2017 SDCC exclusive Holographic Princess Leia Collector’s Gallery Statue. And, if you didn’t have a chance to pick one up at Celebration Orlando this year, you have another chance to pick up the 2017 Convention Exclusive Han Solo McQuarrie Concept Mini Bust at SDCC.
Kmart has ALL of The Black Series 3.75″ 40th Anniversary Titanium figures on sale for $12.74. Not a bad price!
The eighth episode of Forces of Destiny was released late last night. The latest installment found Princess Leia and Sabine trying to escape IG-88. Although it was great to see IG-88 show up since he’s an underutilized character, this was probably my least favorite episode so far. Check it out and judge for yourself!
Today’s episode is one that I personally love. It involves our dear Princess on Hoth and of course, Wampas! The Wampas in Echo Base was one of my all-time favorite deleted scenes, so it’s nice to see a bit more of that in this short, even though this is prior to ESB when they’re setting up Echo Base. In this episode, Wampas break into echo base while Chewie, Leia, and R2 try to deal with it! I’m enjoying these much more than I originally anticipated.
In case you need any of them, waves 8, 9 and 11 of The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ line are ALL hot off of the truck at Entertainment Earth!
Drugs, including heroin and cocaine, were found in Carrie’s body during her autopsy. USA Today has the full (and very upsetting) story.
Need we say more? Be sure to go and check it out at ABC News.
JTA reader Joshua O. found this at his local Walmart. I guess this thief doesn’t love Princess Leia as much as Hasbro.
It’s been difficult for Star Wars fans to accept the loss of Carrie Fisher, but now her home and over 1,500 personal items that belonged to Carrie and her mother Debbie are being auctioned off. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to get some one-of-a-kind items that would be the envy of many collectors across the globe including a life-size C-3PO and bronze Yoda statue. You can read more about the auction in USA Today..
