Yesterday we posted an Amazon alert where you could order a “limitless” amount of The Vintage Collection Imperial Stormtrooper figures. Many were concerned that the item showed temporarily out of stock. Well, today, Amazon has sent up email updates letting us know of the expected delivery.

I’m seeing numerous reports of wave 6 showing up in people’s homes around the country. Did you pre-order wave 6 of The Vintage Collection? I just got 4 stormtroopers in the mail yesterday (from Amazon, and not a scalper price). Post a photo of your most recent hauls, especially if you got wave 6, in the comments of your new figures and where you ordered them from.

The time has come! The best Imperial Stormtrooper ever in 3.75″ scale is starting to arrive in collectors’ homes. Thanks to Sergio K. for the image. I have seen reports of cards being charged from EE and BBTS, so start watching for emails and whatnot if you have this on pre-order. Has anyone had their cards charged for the solid cases of Stormtroopers yet? Let us know if you’ve gotten your case or are anticipating it soon in the comments!
We reviewed these figures weeks ago too! Check them out HERE!

We are excited to present you with a sneak peek of The Vintage Collection wave 21, but we had to start with the shining star of this wave first. The Rogue One Imperial Stormtrooper (VC140) figure is unequivocally the most significant Imperial Stormtrooper action figure Hasbro has ever produced. And while maybe not entirely perfect, you’ll quickly overlook the negative in favor of the positive. Sure, the armor around the ankles is a bit odd, but the rest of the figure is beautifully executed. Made from the body of the Walmart exclusive TVC Stormtrooper (Mimban) (VC123) figure and the portrait from 2016’s RO Imperial Stormtrooper figure, Hasbro seamlessly blended the parts together to create a monumental version of this member of the Galactic Empire. The figure has been given an all-new paint job, and the white is shiny and reflective, and not dull like most Stormtrooper action figures created before it. He only comes with an E-11 blaster, but that’s all this figure needs. The Imperial Stormtrooper has fantastic articulation and can attain any pose you wish. And the only negative is that Hasbro didn’t make enough of them. This figure needs a solid case pack stat. Please note that our Photo Gallery is NOT complete. We will be adding about 30-40 more photos when the review goes live, so be sure to come back tomorrow to check everything out.

For only $29+shipping through a third party seller… However I’m sure it will go on pre-order soon, so I recommend saving the page! Of note, Entertainment Earth is fluctuating between a May and June arrival, and some other sites show July, Amazon is not showing these to arrive till August. Somehow I find that more likely, but we shall see.

A discount store by the name of Roses is getting in hordes of unsold Rogue One products. Most notably, the basic figures are $1.99 each. You can click THIS LINK and see if there is a store near you. JTA reader and friend Josh M. sends us an image of the proof. What’s disconcerting about this is that Rogue One and The Last Jedi products are arriving at so many discount retailers. It’s almost if there isn’t a big enough audience to support 5POA Star Wars action figures. Please Hasbro, move away from 5POA and focus on getting all of the characters in super-articulated status. Thank you.

Here we go again. Pallets and pallets of unsold The Force Awakens 5POA are still arriving at Ollie’s for $2.99 per figure. Additionally, the Jedha Revoly four-pack is arriving in droves too. You have to wonder if there is any interest for them by collectors to shell out $3 per figure. Your mileage may vary. Special thanks to JTA reader Ed D. for the image and report.

In case you have an Ollie’s store near you, JTA reader Scott lets us know that they’re getting “hoards” of the Rogue One Jedha Revolt set. This is ultimately a shame because this was a multipack done right. Anyway, if you’re interested, now you know.

If you’re fortunate to have a liquidated Toys R Us store still open near you, you might want to check out the latets discounts. My local store had a half dozen Rogue One AT-ACTS in stock and with all of the promotions and discounts in effect it came down to $44.99 before taxes. It was certainly worth that price to secure the exclusive figures that will never be re-released from it.

The state of Star Wars since the sale to Disney has generated a lot of discussion, which only intensified after The Last Jedi was released. Three Star Wars films have been released since the sale to Disney and Solo: A Star Wars Story is just around the corner. In addition, we have Star Wars Rebels, Battlefront II, and the various novels and comics that have been released under this new leadership. Now that we a significant amount of material to work with, let’s open up the discussion of “Disney’s” Star Wars a little more. I have put together a list of questions that are intended to assess the state of Star Wars under Disney’s leadership, as well as your hopes for the future. We take pride in the wonderful community that has been established here and would love it if you participated in this discussion. As always, please keep the discussion civil and be respectful of differing opinions. Click through to see the full list of questions.
