Nominations for the 70th Emmy Awards were announced today and Star Wars Rebels was among the nominees. In total, the final season of Star Wars Rebels received three nominations. The series was once again nominated in the Outstanding Children’s Program category. In addition, underappreciated composer Kevin Kiner was nominated in the Outstanding Music Composition For A Series category for his work on the Rebels’ series finale. Kiner and Star Wars Rebels will face off against Emmy juggernauts Game of Thrones and Westworld in that category. Finally, Star Wars Rebels was nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Star Wars Rebels for their latest Emmy nominations and an impressive four seasons of Star Wars television! Click here to see the full list of nominees.
