NEW FIGURES! The Star Wars [Solo] Rey (Jedi Training) Force Link 2.0 figure is a complete waste of a slot. She’ll also clog up pegs. Learn more in our Research Droids Reviews today! While anecdotal, you have to wonder if this Walmart store report example exemplifies the clueless approach taken to stock the toy aisle shelves at Walmart across the nation. Of course, all of us can relate to something somewhat similar at our local chain. It also makes us adamant that Walmart should never touch another Star Wars figure again. (Aren’t the 6″ Mimban Stormtrooper and TVC Rey (Island Journey) reason enough?) JTA reader and friend Russ T. has taken a three-image pictorial for us to show readers a box he found on the top of the shelving, what was in it, and how its contents could be better utilized. (Like inches away from where the box is.) We get that a new reset is coming, but why waste the free space? Click each image for the story.
JTA reader Flying2highagain has discovered that his local super Walmart store has placed the Star Wars [Solo] Force Link 2.0 figures on clearance for $2.00 each. I wonder if they’ll ever see wave 3. This line is far from over, yet retail (in general) has already stuck a fork in it. Also, is it me, or is Qi’ra the new peg-warmers in this line?
There is another…. Toys R Us exclusive NOT coming that way to the USA. JTA reader Sebastian W. has located a new Star Wars [Solo] Han Solo & Chewbacca 12-Inch Figure set at his local store in Asia. This newly revealed item may or may not come to the USA. We will have to wait for an official announcement from Hasbro on it. The packaging also reveals an upcoming Lando Calrissian figure.

Holy crud. The Star Wars [Solo] TIE Fighter is amazing, stunning, and every other positive adjective possible. No more bowed wings. No more crappy bendy plastic. This all-new sculpt captures the magic of the vintage Kenner vehicle while offering new tooling details that will make your lower jaw hit the floor. All-new battle-damage features and wings with rubber running along their perimeters provide a screen-accurate representation of this brilliant Star Wars vehicle. The repainted TIE Fighter Pilot is also a nice addition here. And the Force Link 2.0 stuff is cool as well. The review is coming soon, but check out our rough Photo Gallery right now.
Entertainment Earth has put up product pages for the next The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ case assortment in addition to the next wave of Star Wars [Solo] Force Link 2.0 figures. Check them out!

We have a special sneak peek first look for you of the Star Wars [Solo] Two-Packs wave 2 sets. The Chewbacca (Mimban)/Han Solo (Mimban) set is more delightful than expected. Both Chewy and Han are filthy just like when they met each other for the first time in the prison pit. The detailing and sculpting have exceeded expectations, all the while covered in mud. The chains are removable, and Chewy comes with an impressive three-piece cannon. The Rebolt/Corellian Hound set is equally intriguing. Hasbro has crafted a beautiful cage for the Corellian Hound with functioning parts and delicate detailing. The Corellian Hound itself comes with excellent articulation including a hinge-jointed jaw. Rebolt is a bit puzzling, but a nice figure nonetheless. He looks part Lobot and Cloud Car Pilot with the regal look and feel of someone on Coruscant. Click any thumbnail below to be taken to that review. Full reviews and additional images coming soon!
Sold and shipped by Walmart, the Force Link 2.0 set is now 50% off at Walmart.com. Get it for $14.98 if you need Han Solo, the only way to get this figure, sadly. Special thanks to JTA reader Craig F. for the alert!
