We have a sneak peek of the (Walmart Exclusive Entertainment Earth Exclusive ROSS Exclusive) Resistance A-wing Fighter (Red Squadron) vehicle. This vehicle has gone through quite a journey, hasn’t it? It’s unknown what happened that it never ended up at the first two retails it was intended for, and perhaps we’ll never know. The paint job is barely red (it doesn’t look that red) and it also comes with the first black female Resistance pilot. The review is coming soon, but you can check out the Photo Gallery now.
Ugh. Entertainment Earth has just sent out cancellation notices of the “never released” Walmart exclusive Force Link 2.0 Resistance A-wing Fighter (the red one now showing up at ROSS). It looks like eBay may be an only option for most of us unless this gets picked up by another discount retailer. What a shame.
Welcome to another one of our JTA Presents: Evolutions features! Let’s check out how close or far we are from having an ideal Hasbro 3.75″ Rose Tico (Resistance Tech) action figure. Entertainment Earth has the Finn (First Order Disguise) vs. Captain Phasma two-pack on sale as today’s Daily Deal. Click through for the order page if this price is right for you.
More clearance fodder everyone! Star Wars [The Last Jedi] Force Link vehicles are coming to Five Below officially December 1st. It’s unbelievable what a failure this toy line has been. In case you need a refresher, the normal MSRP for these vehicles is $29.99.
More The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ figures have arrived at Five Below locations across the country. New figures include C-3PO (Resistance Base) and Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader. We have “heard” that more of these case assortments will be arriving this week, so be sure to check out your local store. On a related note, we just joked about Star Wars [The Last Jedi] unsold product landing at Five Below in about two years. But they’ve arrived now. You can get $29.99 vehicles for $5 if you’re so inclined.
Welcome to our JTA Presents: Evolutions feature! Let’s check out how close or far we are from having a definitive Hasbro 3.75″ Han Solo (Bespin Outfit) action figure. Have we arrived at definitive status yet? Weigh in and let us know what conclusion you’ll come to by clicking through and adding your two cents in the comments!.
You have to wonder if The Last Jedi was such a “masterpiece” as some claim it is why the merchandising of it is in the toilet. (That’s not a dig at the film. I didn’t hate it as YouTube does.) While I think both extreme unbridled praise as well as volatile criticism of the film are a tad ridiculous, I can’t deny how poorly the merchandising performed (and in all honesty, this is where the real money comes into play). How many of us actually found the final wave of 3.75″ The Black Series [Phase III] exclusives? I have seen more reports of no one finding them than finding them. And if we did see retailer exclusives, how many of them clogged up shelf space until discounted and eventually removed? JTA reader Scot G. found some key “The Last Jedi” exclusives at his local Tuesday Morning store along with other unsellable stuff. Hopefully, the next film will be a marketing juggernaut.
Holy cow! What is with all of the activity at Amazon today? Who knows how long this will last? Now, the Force Link Emperor Palpatine single-carded figure is available for less than $10. This FIGURE has gone for over $100 on eBay recently. Special thanks to JTA reader Craig F. for the alert!
Entertainment Earth exclusives from the past are listed at pretty good prices at Amazon. Get C’ai Threnalli, the Captain Phasma/Finn (First Order Disguise) Two-Packs set and the First Order Flametrooper for good deals! Special thanks to friend Rivesjunctionite for the alert!
Hey! If anyone’s interested, it looks like you can get pack-in figures for a reduced cost at my local TARGET right outside of Philadelphia. Just buy any Hasbro vehicle, take out the figure and nd then return it as if nothing is different. It appears to be going over quite well here. Good luck to all!
To my shock and surprise, I found my very first two Wampa/Luke Skywalker sets at my local Walmart in Northeast Philly. I have heard of others seeing older products arrive in their local stores too. It appears as if more stock is making its way to Walmart. Now, where are those Mimban Stormtroopers?
We’re switching gears to check out the Electronic Elite Praetorian Guard 12-Inch Figure. It didn’t sell well at all. Find out why in our Research Droids Reviews today! The Star Wars [The Last Jedi] A-wing Fighter (with Tallie) Force Link 2.0 vehicle is nearly half price on Amazon right now if you’re interested. Special thanks to friend Derek T. for the alert!
For those of you interested, the Kohl’s exclusive Force Link 4-pack that retailed for $49.99 is now only $19.99, the price it should have been at launch. Special thanks to friend Rum Sleg for the alert!
It looks like TARGET is beginning to lose interest in their awesome Return Of The Jedi Force LInk three-pack. JTA moderator Sjefke has found them on clearance today. Your mileage may vary.
JTA moderator Sjefke is thrilled to find a $5 Rathtar set at his local Walmart on clearance, but this speaks volume. It speaks volumes how poorly case assortments are treated. How this item was repackaged for Force Link 2.0 is beyond comprehension. A simple visit to any retail establishment would have proven that it was the last set to repackage. Here we are in June 2018, and both Force Link 1.0 and Force Link 2.0 sets are piling up. They might as well start giving these away like Oprah gave away cars on that landmark episode of her show.
JTA reader Ken alerts us to a confirmed listing of the Toys R Us exclusive Force Link 2.0 5-Pack (on their Canadian website). As you know, this item showed up in Japan recently. And now for North America remains in limbo with the death of Toys R Us.
Here is a better look at the Walmart exclusive Force Link 2.0 A-wing Fighter. You can order it at Robot Kingdom right now because it’s IN STOCK!
Retailer ActionFiguren24 has put up for order what they’re calling a Walmart exclusive Force Link A-wing Fighter and Pilot. Click through for the translation on their site. Special thanks to JTA reader Sven from Berlin for the alert!
The Wampa/LukeSkywalker (Hoth) set is ALSO in stock at Hasbro Toy Shop. You know you want it! Special thanks to Mark for the alert!
Sainsbury’s (a supermarket chain in the UK) have Star Wars [The Last Jedi] 3.75″ figures for sale. What’s interesting at this particular location, however, is that the male characters are on the shelf with a full £11 price tag. But the female characters are ‘reduced to clear’ at £7.33! Someone needs to do something about this. The female characters of Star Wars deserve the same higher MSRP as their male counterparts. Special thanks to JTA reader Shoretrooper for this disconcerting turn of events.
