And speaking of BB-8, if you missed our Facebook alert hours ago, the BB-8 2 In 1 Mega Playset is only $49.99 on Amazon. I particularly find this a shame. This playset was actually a lot of fun. It’s totally worth $50. Grab it!

Unbelievable! Reports are pouring in from toy runners that the BB-8 Mega Playset has been marked down as low as $30 at some Walmart stores. We are getting plenty of reports that it is also found for $45. Special thansk to JTA readers Allen P. and vikingrobot and others for the reports and images. This item is still over $100 on Walmart.com. What ashame. This is a fantastic playset. It should have performed better. Perhaps get rid of the droid-shaped gimmick next time.

We have completely reviewed The Vintage Collection wave 17 and The Black Series [Phase III] wave 16. (We also reviewed the awesome Dewback/Sandtrooper set as well.) Be sure to check back at midnight as we begin to add the Solo: A Star Wars Story products to our database.

This image is entirely disconcerting. If I didn’t know the person who sent me the picture of this store report, I would have assumed this was Photoshopped. The idiot who stole all of these figures should start paying attention to sites like this one because he would have learned that the character he took will be available in droves when it gets repacked as a Force Link 2.0 figure. (Whoops!) This thief is scum, but it would be helpful if Hasbro could release essential details like this as soon as possible to deter this behavior (perhaps).

We all remember the great TARGET exclusive Force Link three-pack that included Emperor Palpatine, Luke Skywalker and an Emperor’s Royal Guard. (See our review of it HERE if you’re not familiar with it.) We also recall Hasbro released Emperor Palpatine as a single-carded basic figure. But many collectors wondered if the other two figures from that three-pack would also be released singly as well. It would make sense that Hasbro would have both Luke Skywalker and Emperor’s Royal Guard on their radar for releases as single basic figures too, wouldn’t it?

It’s almost hard to believe, but JTA reader and friend Robert F. has received a shipping notice for the Hasbro Star Wars [The Last Jedi] “Battle Of Crait” 4-pack, ordered from Entertainment Earth, despite its March 2018 release date.  The new figures presented here will only be available in this set! Wow! A store report of the Star Wars [The Last Jedi] Emperor Palpatine basic figure has been made in Rebelscum’s forums. There are also other NJ Walmart sightings of this figure too. This confirms our rumor report that this figure would likely make its way out to retail in some capacity. Interesting, huh? Special thanks to JTA reader Rich K. for the news and alert! Although most of these cancelled figures have been saved by Entertainment Earth, this line has shown everyone that new Star Wars Entertainment is arriving at a pace that doesn’t benefit merchandising and can’t be sustained by retail. Anyway, be sure to check out C’ai Threnalli, First Order Flametrooper and the single-packed Emperor Palpatine right now in our RDRs. Reviews start Sunday!

Remember how Entertainment Earth didn’t offer the Star Wars [The Last Jedi] Emperor Palpatine Force Link figure (something to do with it being widely available in the TARGET exclusive) when the other figures were? Well, we have learned that this figure WILL be available in limited quantities through another vendor/distributor in the USA for online purchase. You should expect to hear about this shortly providing the information we secured doesn’t change. As with all rumors, take this with a grain of salt until fully confirmed. To be clear, we’re talking about the figure pictured below; not a potential repack in the Solo: A Star Wars Story toy line (if this figure is even a candidate for that line).

JTA reader PB Davis sends us a store report noting how much Force Link products are in his areas on clearance. He found items as low as $2, and the “beast” sets for $5. It’s a shame that Star Wars films don’t get to fully bake at retail anymore. It’s always on to the next new thing. On a related note, I have noticed that TARGET is beginning to prep its clearance of this line as well.
