Just as the headline suggests, it’s Toy Run Tuesday once again! My stores have been hit heavy with Christmastime toy shipments of every brand and every line. Hi folks! Not a lot going on the last couple weeks by way of collecting. I’ve been swamped with homework anyway, so I haven’t had much of a chance to go looking. In my little spare time I’ve been working on a couple commissions. I finished another 1313 Boba Fett, and I’m working on an ARC trooper Fives in 6″ scale. Just after last week’s post went live I was able to find the whole Emperor TVC wave at a local Target! I was so happy to find them in store. IG-11 is the stand-out figure from the wave in my opinion (the others are great too). I wanted to share a couple thoughts on the figure, so click here to take a look. This week I got some new toys! One in particular is a modern update to a vintage Star Wars collectible I’ve wanted for a long time. I’m really happy I got this as it showed up on Hasbro’s eBay store only for a short time, and I wasn’t able to secure the vintage counterpart before the value shot up recently. Hello Toy Runners! This week I got the last of my preorders in the mail. I ended up with a case of Purge troopers, and 2 of each of the Ahsoka wave. It was a pretty great week. Along with those, I received an order of in-galaxy currency to add to my collection of various Star Wars monies. I don’t have the kind of cash flow it takes to collect high end prop replicas of sabers and blasters, but metal money is a relatively inexpensive way to get into the prop side of Star Wars collecting. We discussed preorders a couple weeks ago, and one thing I forgot to mention is that they always seem to come all at once! I had more than 20 figures drop this week, but 6 of them were delayed on Amazon. Nevertheless it is a really good haul! Click here to check it out and leave comments of your own new toys!

Hi all! It’s a Tuesday evening, but not too late for TRT! This week I dont’ have a single new Star Wars anything to share. I think that’s the first time in 2 years of running this article. If you want to see my Tech Deck ramp I made, or my custom Halo figures let me know. This is a Star Wars site, though, so I’m keeping it related. I did want to talk about something: preorders. Preorders bring me no joy when it comes to collecting. I look at my amazon orders and the preordered figures get lost in the backlog of household items. Preorders get forgotten. I want to ask you today: How much stuff do you have preordered? And, Do preorders excite you as a collector? Let us know in the comments.

This week Walmart came through and delivered a MINT Paploo. I mean this thing was packaged in a normal sized box with extra padding lying flat on the bottom of the package. I was shocked at how good the condition was for a Walmart exclusive. More…
