Last Post On 40th Anniversary Wave 2 (Promise?)
If you’re a Star Wars collector, you know how this goes. You feel like you’re a yo-yo with how information is relayed and what the true status of the figures you actually want is. As you know, and some people feel we have harped on this for way too long already, is that 40th Anniversary wave 2 is and has been completely sold out since about the summertime. (In fact, it’s believed that this was the case even prior to 2017 SDCC – however, we can not wholly conclude that.) But there is great news ahead. As of RIGHT NOW, it has been CONFIRMED that ANOTHER production run has been made for the 40th anniversary wave 2. They will be ONLINE EXCLUSIVES only. Brick and mortar WILL NOT be getting them. We also don’t know how large the production run is either, so you may want to get your pre-orders in stat! Should anything change, rest assured that Jedi Temple Archives will relay the latest information we have available to our readers.
Additionally, this availability may not be the case FOR ALL ONLINE RETAILERS. Some directly source things from China as we had reported a while back. You can read more about this outlet HERE. Those online retailers may still get their supply in a different manner. But this wave WILL BE AVAILABLE domestically once again thanks to this second run in production.
