Stand Tall Display System

June 5, 2006

What do you do if you have limited space to display your collection?

Well, you have a couple of choices…..

You can do what I did for years which is pack as many figures on a shelf as possible and hope that one in the back doesn’t fall down. Of course this looks like all your figures have floor seats at a Madonna concert. All of their sweaty little plastic bodies rubbing up against each other vying for your attention. It’s just a sea of faces. You never get to really appreciate each sculpt for it’s unique beauty.

You could go Walmart and get yourself some spice racks so each row of figures is progressively higher than the next. I’m not going to lie to you….this works out pretty good. My entire display was once based on the "school bleacher" concept. It looked decent and I thought I was happy…but deep down inside I was craving more. My inner anguish led me to develop Stand Tall Display.

The idea first came to me when I was using Dixie cups to arrange my figures into a better variety of displays than my spice racks would allow. As I placed my figures atop the overturned cups, thereby giving them a "lift" above the surrounding figures, I wished desperately that I had some even taller, thinner cups for my little men to stand on. Then I thought, "Wouldn’t it be nice if I had a little erector set made up of just Disk Platforms and Legs that could be used to give you an endless variety of Display’s?" So my new life mission from then on was to provide the world with my vision of display excellence.

I’ve had nay-sayers tell me that nobody would be stupid enough to buy my "dumb toy-stands"……I’ve had people tell me that I’m gonna be a millionaire…that this is a great idea and I’ll make a ton of money……Well, I plan on proving both wrong! (Don't get me wrong...a million dollars would be nice but it just isn't going to happen).

This is a product that I’ve created because I’m a toy-geek at heart. It gives me great satisfaction to set-up my figures and really love how they look on the shelf. Is it for everybody? No. But if you’re a loose collector I think you will be pleased with these stands.

So which is better, heaps of figures thrown into a stinking mass on your bookselves or all your figure gloriously free to Stand proudly on their own platforms?

Stand Tall Display is only available HERE. Thank you….and goodnight…..
